What We Do
At eCyte, we are dedicated to developing and commercializing scientific instruments for phenotype-based profiling and sorting of microbial and mammalian cells.
Leveraging single-cell Raman spectroscopy, our Raman-activated cell sorters (RACS), including the high-throughput FlowRACS and the optical tweezers-based RACS-Seq, can rapidly and non-invasively reveal metabolic states and cellular products at single-cell resolution, and sort targeted cells without the need for labels. Together with companion microfluidic-based instruments EasySort and DCP, these systems enable a wide range of applications in synthetic biology, microbiome research, and environmental resource mining.
